Gabriella is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities and embrace their full potential. She provides a supportive and compassionate space for clients to explore their concerns, develop coping strategies, and cultivate inner peace. Gabriella specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief.
Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Mindfulness and meditation techniques, drawing inspiration from the wisdom of yoga and spiritual practices. She utilizes Play and Sand Tray therapy to assist those clients needing an alternative way to express their emptions and work through their struggles. She pulls from Internal Family Systems and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy to improve her clients’ relationships and ability to tolerate distress. Gabriella believes in empowering individuals to connect with their inner strength and live a life filled with purpose and joy.
As a former school counselor, Gabriella’s primary objective was to provide a secure and nurturing environment where children could receive the necessary academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support to succeed. She worked to ensure children had an inclusive and barrier-free space to thrive. She is committed to working collaboratively with parents, physicians and any collateral contacts to deliver optimal client care. She is skilled at acting as a liaison between families and schools to ensure students receive the assistance they need both in her therapy space and in the school environment.
Gabriella has a strong passion for working with adoptees and their families. She is currently working on her adoption counselor certification to further enhance her skills in this area. She is keenly aware that despite adoption bringing joy and fulfillment to many, adoption also has many complexities and challenges. She helps clients explore their issues of identity confusion, low self-esteem, poor attachment, and trauma that can be a result of the adoption process. She aims to help these clients heal and overcome adoption-related challenges and pave the way for emotional growth, acceptance and belonging.
In her personal time, Gabriella enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and attending concerts. She’s a passionate traveler, having explored diverse cultures and landscapes around the globe. She finds solace and inspiration in yoga, both on and off the mat, and she loves the vibrant energy of live music.
